Lawrence M. Allen, MD – IM
Dr. Allen was born in San Diego, California. He grew up in a small town in Iowa and attended the University of Iowa as an undergraduate.
He attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, Nevada completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Allen has many professional affiliations some of which have included: American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, DCOM, Chairman IND Insurance Advisory Board, Administraton DCOM and many more. In addition he is a former Board Member of the American Heart Association, prior Medical Director NPP PPO Organization, prior Medical Director Universal Health, prior Chief of Staff of Rehab Hospital of Las Vegas, prior Vice Chief of Staff Valley Hospital, as well as a prior Chairman Department of Internal Medicine Valley Hospital.
Dr. Allen has been married for over twenty years and has one child. His particular areas of interest in his medical practice include: health, nutrition and quality of life. When Dr. Allen is not working you might find him skiing, fishing, traveling or watching football.
